Sarah Jessica Parker: Sex and the City 2 'was the best'

Sarah Jessica Parker: Sex and the City 2 'was the best'

Sarah Jessica Parker graces the May issue of Vogue, which coincides with the release of her new movie ‘Sex and the City 2’. According to a press release, the Vogue cover is intended to honor the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s ‘American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity’ exhibit.

Brand SJP
SATC reflects how successful women have changed perceptions over time and Parker’s involvement is quite obvious. “It's hard to define precisely when it was that the Carrie Bradshaw brand turned into the Sarah Jessica Parker brand, but the transition was definitely made,” writes Vogue contributing editor Vicki Woods.

Parker and her co-stars Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall had a ball while filming the movie. Shooting for the television series and then for the movies over time has brought them all really close and Parker says this time it was all the more fun because they got to stick around with each other.

“This movie – and maybe it's because we actually lived together – it was the best! We were together all day long, at night, in restaurants, in our hotels,” says Parker. “It was wonderful.”

Aging is amusing to them
Since they have a funny, humorous approach towards everything, including the graying of their hair, the ladies really had a good time.

Expect some menopause comedy as Parker says, “Samantha was always the older lady, so she's 52 now and talks a lot about what comes with that.”

Chris Noth insists that despite the aging concerns, a third movie could be in line. “We're married now. If we make another one where we're grandparents, we'd still have a good time,” said Noth.
